New GEF Agrobiodiversity project in Mexico helps tomatoes

Mexico's Ministry of Environment and Natural History and National Commission for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity are coordinating a project on agrodiversity in Copainalá, Chiapas. It is promoting agrodiversity conservation of corn, beans, squash, chili, amaranth, chayote, quelite, nopal, maguey, avocado, cocoa -- and tomatoes -- in rural communities.
